NATIVE AMERICAN FLUTE BEGINNER COURSE

This class is for those who would like to learn to play the Native American flute, but have never played it before, or have never learned the basics. This style of flute allows one to express their deepest self, without years of intense practice.  In this class, you will learn how to hold the flute and finger position, how to start notes, the first six (main six notes), the basic scale, how to practice, how to start notes in various ways, how to improvise your own melodies. We’ll also learn about the various parts of the flute, flute care, and introduce some advanced techniques.
You will need to purchase a Native American flute in the key of A for the class.
