« back to classes page
Egypt is arguably the most fascinating ancient culture in the world, and certainly the longest. Let’s visit this incredible land in the comfort of a classroom. We’ll cover traveling there, whether on your own or on a tour, the major archaeological sites, the 3,100-year history of ancient Egypt and the otherworld wonder of Egypt today, cruising the Nile, the lodgings and food, the dos and don’ts. It’s all you’ll need to make your experience of Egypt special, whether you’re planning a trip or just something to dream about if it’s on your bucket list. The instructor is a published scholar and long-time lecturer in Egyptology.
