(Ages 12-14) Black Hawk College and QCCTEC / United Township Area Career Center have joined forces to launch an exclusive workshop designed to educate and train junior high students on some of the most common issues they may encounter as vehicle owners or drivers. You will gain hands-on experience with basic car maintenance skills that every responsible car owner should know, including how to check oil, tire pressure and other fluids, change a flat tire, jump-start a car and build an emergency kit. You will also learn about the importance of routine maintenance, how to understand common warning lights and how regular car care can keep drivers safe.
