ClassGraphic Join us to learn about the Quad Cities Autism Center (QCAC) and the evidence-based treatment they provide to children ages 2-10. QCAC is a not-for-profit organization in Moline that has provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children in the Quad Cities and outlying areas for 20 years. Learn about the diagnostic criteria, definitions and “red flags/symptoms” of autism. This presentation will also include a brief introduction to basic principles of ABA with emphasis on B.F. Skinner’s Verbal Behavior and will focus on the key components of instruction from several curriculums the QCAC is currently utilizing to teach communication, cooperation and toleration skills to the children they serve.
