Learn the fundamentals of drawing and sketching and turn your flat, on-the-surface sketches into three-dimensional pieces of art.  You will be guided through the process of how to draw simple objects from real life. Working with pencils, you will develop skills in composition and shading. You will develop an understanding of light and shadow while drawing a variety of objects.
Please bring to class two #2 pencils, a white hi-polymer eraser, a pack of tortillons for blending, and an 11”x 8.5” sketchpad with spiral binding on the side.
