ClassGraphic Instructor: Ranjani Gopikrishna, local artist

Quilling – also known as paper filigree or paper scrolling — technique dates back centuries. The origin of this technique first used gold and silver rolled into coils to decorate vases and pieces of jewelry. With the emergence of paper, it took a different dimension in the 14th century. This nearly forgotten art form has gained more popularity in recent years. This is an easy-to-learn art form compared to other crafts. With the available tools and resources, anyone can learn the basic quilling techniques and create mind-blowing art forms. Join us and create art using strips of paper. A $25 materials fee for the kit is payable to the instructor the first day of class.
