(Ages 11 - 16) This clinic will teach students the responsibilities of a babysitter, what parents expect, how to handle emergencies, caring for and handling infants and young children, feeding techniques and diapering, age-appropriate toys and activities, tips for bedtime issues and much more! Students will learn basic first aid and how to handle emergencies that arise such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents. As babysitting will be many students’ first job, interviewing also will be reviewed. Certificate will be awarded upon completion.
