Prerequisite: Starting Your Family Search/Growing Your Family Tree or instructor permission. Students are required to bring their ancestry chart, family group sheet on the family they are researching and must have basic computer knowledge/ability to navigate the internet.
This unique class will be small in size to focus on individual research. Individualized research plans based on your personal research goals will be developed. You will receive help to clarify what you already know about your family’s genealogy and what you want to learn. Focus on finding and utilizing resources as well as organizing your paperwork and files. Organization, research plans, and better utilizing of new and existing resources will have you on your way to making new discoveries in your family tree.
