  • Camps are designed for students who will be entering 3rd-5th grade.
  • Students will attend the same 3 consecutive classes during each camp.
  • Classes will be held in-person at the BHC Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL unless otherwise noted.
  • Upon registration, you will receive more information about the camp and 1st day info.

Spanish - Dive into the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. You will learn basic conversation skills, vocabulary and gain a fun understanding of Hispanic customs. Get ready to explore new words, phrases, and traditions as you begin your journey with Spanish!

American Sign Language (ASL) - Sign language is a system of communication that uses visual gestures and signs. It’s mainly used by people who are deaf, but it can also help communicate with those who have other disabilities or are a bit hard of hearing. In this class, you’ll learn basic vocabulary, the alphabet, and how to sign your name. By the end of the week, you’ll have some favorite signs and will be excited to share your new skills with family and friends!

French - Take a tour of France! Learn about the country and introductory language by taking an imaginary trip to France with the class. Through games and music, learn numbers, colors, food, transportation, dates, and the French alphabet. Discover beginning conversation in a fun learning environment.
