« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Students will be introduced to poverty trends causing one to understand how poverty and mental health are connected. Using simple language, visuals and interactive activities, participants explore how financial stress can affect emotions, learning and daily life. Together, we will practice healthy coping tools such as talking with others and connecting to a mentor or what we like to call a Navigator. Helping the participants to realize mentoring makes a difference in poverty and in mental health. The session is designed to be encouraging, practical and accessible for learners of all levels.
