Explore the charming folk-art tradition of tole painting! This is a decorative painting style historically used to embellish household objects like trays, boxes and furniture. In this class, you’ll learn classic brush techniques and create your own beautiful designs on a variety of wooden pieces. Finished projects make heartfelt gifts or unique décor for your home. 
Paint for the first class will be provided; students will need to purchase paint for the remaining three sessions. A material fee of $20 is payable to the instructor the first day of class. Please bring a No. 1 and No. 3 tipped liner brush, a No. 6 and No. 12 flat brush, a 2 oz bottle of multi-purpose sealer (Ex. DecoArt), and a 2 oz bottle of soft touch varnish (Ex. DecoArt).
